A winter storm that dumped snow, rain, and sleet spanning over 2500 miles of the United States continues to be a misery to travelers. With nearly 7000 flights cancelled mid day Tuesday travelers are advised to call the airline before heading to the airport for a status report on your flight.


Travelers should be advised that snow and sleet is expected to continue in the South East states through Thursday 2.3.11 which will compound airport delays. Plan accordingly.




The East Coast is preparing for two days of heavy snow and ice starting February 2, 2011. This massive storm consisting of snow, high winds and freezing rain stretches from New Mexico to Maine and has already slammed into many parts of the Mid West. Flight cancellations and delays are expected in Buffalo, Boston, Providence, Newark and New York. Jet Blue, US Airways, Delta Airlines, Southwest Airlines are advising travelers to check delays and cancellations at many east coast airports.
